I am Bailee Leppien; a mature, responsible, reliable, and positive first-year university student studying Criminal Justice at the University of Canterbury.

I am looking for a part-time job to help fund my current studies, as well as seeking an opportunity to prove my worth in the workforce. I am healthy, fit and have no issues that would restrict me from doing any aspect of my potential job. I am friendly and approachable and love meeting a wide variety of new people. I work great with team members and seek out customer service moments and feel I could make a great asset to any team!

  • As I was a boarder I would go home to New Plymouth for the holidays and when I was home I would work in a café, in doing this I was fortunate to gain experience in all things hospitality based, I am now confident in making coffees for customers but will continue to practice and I am very willing to take a barista course.

Accomplishments

  • I have been recently appointed as a Head Student, House Captain for my final year in 2023.
  • I gained a merit award in year 11 which was from being selected by 4 of my teachers as I showed my school pride values which are Positivity, Respect, Integrity, Diversity and Empathy.
  • I gained overall merit endorsement for level 1 and 2 and looking to achieve the same for year 13.
  • I have played netball previously for 5 years, from year 7 up to year 10. This has taught me how to be a team player and work well in team environments. I was placed in the B team in year 10 for Nelson College for Girls.
  • In year 10 I also played volleyball for the school, I trialed and got selected for the A team. This shows commitment to a team and social skills.
  • I was selected as house leader for my intermediate and organized meetings, friendly to all year levels and created a safe environment for all ages in our schoolhouse.
  • I belonged to East End swimming club for a year and turned up to all practices on time and consistently showed resilience.
