Security Guard IC (in charge) - Hospitality Guard

- Responsible for maintaining safety of colleagues, venue staff and customers

- Meeting and greeting customers in a professional manner

- Ensuring the team runs a smooth operation throughout the night

- Managing intoxication levels within the licensed premises

- Identification screening of customers (Checking IDs) - Ensuring no fake or false IDs enter the licensed premise

- De-escalating conflict situations and keeping a cool head with heated situations

- Removing and ejecting of aggressive patrons from the venue in a orderly and professional manner

- Completing perimeter checks and standard security sweeps within the venue (surveillance checks)

- Assess, observe and quickly respond to emergency situations

- Completing timesheets and end of night reports to capture statistics for how the night went

• During service I was independently which made me an essential point of communication and had the responsibility of looking after the corporate guests, serving food & beverage

Production Worker

- Followed safety procedures and guidelines to maintain safe working environments

- Created heating products that were passed down the production line (I.e. Heating foils for heater systems)

- Maintain cleanliness of workstations after job was complete

- Certain targets to hit and meet by the end of each working day

- Worked alongside small teams of up to 5 people

- Developed strong working relationships with at risk students (Eg. Absent, Violent, Re-offending kids)

- Engaged with selected students on a 1 to 1 basis to assist them with their school work ensuring they are getting assistance and attention they require

- Worked alongside catered programs that were for the at risk students that accommodate to their needs (different learning requirements to better the certain student

- Coordinated with other school staff to ensure students goals were met on a weekly/monthly basis

• I had the opportunity to work & teach students from Linwood College during my final year of high school & most recently in 2017
• I was leading students & teaching them traditional songs & dance to perform at a yearly event called Polyfest
• This event includes schools from parts of the south island where secondary students come together to showcase what they had been taught
