Currently working as the Delivery Lead for the S4 HANA team working on delivery Property & Rates project for Tauranga City Council. In June last year, I lead the successful delivery of their Property Management Project which involved migrating all the existing Leasing customers at Tauranga City Council from their heritage system into SAP S4 HANA. While I focus on project deliveries I also drive the deliverables from existing BAU Value Stream for bugs and enhancement fixes within S4 HANA Finance, Purchasing and Asset Modules.
In the Property Management Project I played two roles that of a Delivery Lead as well of a Product Owner.
Both of these roles meant I lead the scope/priorities negotiations conversations with the business as well driving these priorities from a delivery/deployment point of view with my delivery team as well as the vendor implementation partner.
Below are some of the key roles and responsibilities I've covered so far:
Lead BA in the discovery phase for a large transformation programme and the role covers the below responsibilities:
• Working in a programme comprised of cross functional streams to gather requirements including technical and functional for discovery phase of the programme.
• Working with the architects to identify and design high level solutions for integrations and APIs where needed based off the requirements.
• Facilitate conversations with the stakeholders to present the technical or business process designs and constraints.
• Run prioritization sessions with conflicting stakeholders to land on highest value deliverables within the given time frames.
• Working with Delivery leads of multiple delivery teams to explain the requirements, sizing and doability.
• Explaining the breakdown of the requirements to the individual delivery teams.
• Work with the business to draw up roadmaps for certain areas with timelines and value drops or features that will be delivered.
• Work through the overlapping or cross over requirements between various capability teams.
• Compile data based reports of the progress made by the delivery teams to inform the value delivered within the time frame.
• Used tools like JIRA, Confluence, MIRO, etc.
Worked on a large business transformation programme in Digital and Data Streams where my responsibilities were:
Over the 5 years at Frucor I played various roles such as Project Manager/ Senior Business Analyst and PMO Lead.
Key responsibilities Agile Software Development (requirements gathering, design thinking, writing user stories, prioritization, sprint planning, backlog grooming), business analysis, stakeholder management in New Zealand and Australia.
I was working as a lead BA on Master Data Management project and Global HRIS Successfactors project implementation.
