Check and promote asthma and COPD action plans
Spirometry test to aid in the diagnosis and monitoring of asthma and COPD clients
Schools Programme: Asthma Clinic in South Auckland High Schools, supporting Year 9 to Year 13 students to manage their asthma
Working alongside School Nurses
Lead Nurse for COPD Support Groups in Central Auckland, West Auckland and North Shore
Groups have meetings each month
Support members to better manage COPD and help avoid members feeling isolated
Run Asthma and COPD courses for Health professionals
Mentoring third year Nurse students during their community attachments.
