Hardworking electrical apprentice with a years experience on industrial sites. I have experience from home with welding and fabricating my own bullbar and other home jobs. Transitioning to engineering to pursue a more passion aligned career path. Proven track record of hard work and adaptability, with over four years of experience in the workforce. Strong problem-solving skills developed through my time on industrial sites in the trades.
I have a strong interest in flying aeroplanes and endeavor to fly for enjoyment in the future. In fact, I am currently carrying out lessons which involve learning the skills needed before im licensed. (Aerial manouvers, landing, emergencies etc). My skill in this has been shown through the various trophies and scholarships I’ve earned. I carry out this hobby at the local ‘Hawkes Bay and East Coast Aero club’. This skill/hobby directly relates to strong coordination and the ability to understand technical information. Further, it also shows that I am willing to put in not only practical work but written theory work to achieve my goals., Among this, I also ride motocross, where strong coordination and maintaining focused in uncomfortable situations is important. Unfortunately I cannot ride at the moment due to an injury I had mid last year. This injury has influenced me to put motocross on pause until im atleast qualified as an engineer/fabricator.
