For the last 4 years since the first Covid lockdown I’ve been working at New Zealand couriers, largely in a self-managed Revenue Recovery role, where I have thrived and have driven significant results and set a new precedent for performance. Prior to this I worked in the travel industry, and lived my passion every day helping to curate my clients dreams with them. I am now married with 2 kids, and family is everything to me. I’ve come to really value a work-life balance because life is too short to put family second.

  • I started at NZC in Customer Service and Freight Office, and quickly moved on to my current role as Revenue Recovery Officer which was more suited to my skill set and personal drive for success
  • In this role I have been able to cover the branch’s bottom line with the revenue that I have brought in and have achieved results unseen before, at one point being the top in the country for percentage of revenue recovered
  • I’ve loved this role as it has given me confidence and drive to push for my goals, and I have really valued the independence and flexibility that it has given me

Cruise Travel Agent / CRM Administrator

  • Company Overview: We were the #1 online travel agency in New Zealand, and 2nd in Australia
  • I was part of an award winning team selling all levels of cruises from budget to luxury, matching our particular clients with the right cruise experience for them
  • I took advantage of on the job training and educational experiences to really understand the different products, and in the 3 years I was there went on 8 different cruises both local and international
  • I also took on the role of CRM Administrator, helping to implement Hubspot for more efficient tracking and handling of emails, and setting up automations to facilitate this
  • I was involved in an AGILE project to help reinvent our website
  • Were it not for Covid hitting when it did, resulting in the business shutting down, I would more than likely have been there for years to come!
  • We were the #1 online travel agency in New Zealand, and 2nd in Australia

  • This was my first job out of travel college, where I worked for 5 years growing my skills through various departments that dealt with booking complimentary travel, assisting the management team, managing travel booked on our website, bug testing the website, and finally serving our Platinum cardholders with all their travel needs

  • It was while here that I was introduced to the concept of the Growth Mindset, and this has served me throughout my career and my life, keeping my head up in the tough times and giving me a drive for success

I love sharing my passions with people and hearing about theirs, and bringing value to every conversation and interaction.
