• With my time spent at Barbers on Manners, I honed my skills to an even greater degree. Working with several highly talented barbers, I pushed myself to be the best barber I possibly can be, taking in all the knowledge and experience available.
• The time spent here has made me especially proficient in my long hair trims and cutthroat shaving.

During my time working as a Barber, I have gained and developed several highly transferrable skills.

These skills include :

• A high level of attention and care is taken with every service I provide, ensuring the client has a great experience every time they get a haircut.
• Working in a structured, appointment based barbershop, I developed excellent time management skills, learning to work to schedule whilst never sacrificing quality when working on even the busiest of days.
• Developed excellent interpersonal skills. I have become accustomed to working with people from all different walks of life on a daily basis. This is an aspect of work I especially enjoy as I take great satisfaction in seeing new and old faces alike on a daily basis and developing social but professional relationships with those people.
• Took care of inventory, ensuring the shop was well stocked in hair products, sanitation and tool care equipment, as well as personal protective equipment.
• Resolved customers concerns with knowledgeable and professional approach.
• Handled incoming phone calls and scheduled appointments.
• Maintained cleanliness of the barbershop, including sterilizing tools and sanitizing work areas.
• Helped to train apprentice barbers.
