My name is BENJAMIN YAKAS I am 35years of age. I left school at a young age to join my family businesses in Commercial Fishing. I started as a deckhand and moved my way up to deck boss and eventually took over my dads seat as skipper. I hired employees and trained them. After 10 years the fishing had slowed down so we decided as a family to make the move to Australia. I Have Been Working In The Civil And Electrical Industry. since been In Australia I have operated Heavy Riggid Vehicles Excavators and other machinery once i moved back to new Zealand I had the opportunity to further my experience on the puhoi to warkworth project witch lead me to become lead operator and eventually running the final major slip repairs job as Forman I have learnt a wide range of skills and experience In this time frame as I tend to pick up on skills fast. I have great time management, always on time, work well as a team as I am a people's person and get along with everyone I also have no problems working unsupervised. I am a fast learner and take any opportunity I can to learn new things to further my career, I am willing to do what it takes to grow & accomplish my goals.i have all necessary licenses fullclass 4 and wtr
