explore the common human nature
With two years of experience teaching senior high school politics in China. With five years working in Early Childhood Education in NZ
My strength lies in supporting students to solve real problems based on a good understanding of students’ learning style, needs and developmental patterns. Ideally, looking for a teaching role in History and Social studies, or Economics and Chinese within a school values inclusivity and diversity teaching pattern.
explore the common human nature
1. I believe that the first principle of education is to awaken the positive potential within each student while supporting them to recognise, manage, and transform negative emotions. True learning does not come from external pressure but grows from within—it is self-driven, rooted in genuine interest, a sense of value, and a love for learning.
2. Beneath every behaviour is a feeling, and beneath every feeling is a need. When we respond to the need rather than the behaviour, we begin to address the cause, not just the symptom.
3. The strength of the teacher–student relationship lies not in who the child is, but in the value and meaning a teacher brings to their life.
4. A teacher’s role isn’t simply to pass on one piece of knowledge after another. Stacking up information is not what makes a great teacher — and it certainly isn’t what helps students thrive.
Truly great teachers show students how to learn, inspire a love of learning, and help them discover their own sense of value in learning. They nurture intrinsic motivation, encourage self-worth, and help students to find a genuine passion for their life.
