High Performance Strength & Conditioning Coach
Responsible for:
- RTP Plan alongside Team physios and Doctor for the return to play athletes.
- Athlete modified training loads on and off the field
- Development Group Strength & Conditioning coach (Chiefs & NZRU U/20 candidates)
- Connect with athletes and build trust in order to change behaviors around Athlete Development.
- Create and deliver a high quality Strength and Conditioning programme.
- Plan Schedule for days/weeks/months
- Regular testing and monitoring of all players within the programme and updating the National Database
- GPS(Statsports) for NPC team
- Coordinate with Coaches around training Load on field.
- To improve individual game fitness throughout session's.
- Consult with coaches around player management in terms of redlining/over training.
- Meet with coaches and give updates and training analysis.
- Coordinate with Physios with RTP athletes training loads.
