Boyu Chu

I am a recent graduate nurse, having successfully passed the registration exam and obtained my Annual Practising Certificate (APC). While pursuing my studies, I worked part-time as a Healthcare Assistant (HCA) for three years in a rest home, gaining valuable experience in patient care. During my nine-week clinical placement at Kenepuru Community Hospital, I focused on elderly rehabilitation, further developing my skills in supporting older adults with diverse health needs. Additionally, in my second year of university, I completed a one-month placement at Rangipapa and Pūrehurehu forensic units, where I gained exposure to complex mental health cases. I have extensive experience working with elderly individuals, particularly those facing mental health challenges. My passion lies in geriatric nursing and mental health, and I am eager to contribute my skills and dedication to these care areas.
