Work History

Volunteer

Hope House Foundation

Orchard worker

T and G Global
12.2021 - 02.2022
  • 10 others and I worked for T and G in many different orchards for over 10 weeks
  • It helped me gain experience in orchards picking and being able to work for long hours

Part time Grocery worker

New World Onekawa
02.2019 - 06.2019
  • Company Overview: A local supermarket
  • I worked at Onekawa New World, a local supermarket for the basis of work experience and the chance to earn some real earned cash
  • In previous years, I have not been able to work because training for swimming 8 times a week limited myself from working so when I quit it was a good opportunity for this
  • In this supermarket I worked in Grocery, and since being a small supermarket I would often do checkout, help out the boss with anything that needed to be done and all round be working all the time to my best ability
  • I worked for 13 hours a week with some weeks less or more with school events on and covering peoples shift, so my work hours were very variable with some weeks going up to 24 hours
  • After just under 6 months in my job, I officially quit as I figured it was best to maximise my time to make the best benefit out of the hours in the week in other areas of my life
  • This job was definitely a learning/starting step for myself in terms of proper work experience and was all and all a good experience
  • A local supermarket
