Below is a list of some of my skills, experiences and traits that I have learned over my professional career, some not necessarily learnt at LakeTree, but that I carry with me from previous experience.

• Served as primary liaison between software customers and our development team, as well as contributed as an internal team member, jumping in when it matters most or, times being the only consultant on the team and playing many roles in one.
• Consulted with the internal sales team (pre-sales activities) and clients to align future software development with priorities.
• Reviewed project specifications and designed technology solutions, and partook in every aspect of many successful engagements, such as pre-sales, RFI & RFP responses. estimation, project management, engaging with the client or our internal sales team as the key contact for engagement between the client and the company or development team, system design, system implementation, development (please see my development section for details.), testing and Q&A, go-live, post production support, handover, and final sign off.
• Orchestrated efficient large-scale software deployments, for many client, covering all many industries and size, from some examples such as Department of Internal Affairs(DIA), New Zealand Transport Authority(NZTA), to smaller engagements such as Oceana Dairy.
• Operated within cross-functional environments, coordinating multi-disciplinary teams, with ease and I enjoy making friends as I go along.
• Attended industry conferences, for Microsoft (User groups & Online events) & K2 (Promotional Sales events and conferences).
• Provided quality assurance testing for pre-release software different principals depending on the requirements and flexible based on the clients needs.
• Performed software demonstrations for potential clients, highlighting strengths of the system, custom built proof of concepts based on the customer needs (pre-sales).
• Designed complete solution architecture tailored to specific end-user needs, consisting of, infrastructure design, systems design, solution design, wiki contributions, business process modeling, user diagrams, user-flow diagrams, API and end user documentation.
• Served as technical expert on products at press events and conferences for both K2 & Nintex.
• Aided in implementation for clients in many Industries, providing setup and initial training services.
• Installed and configured software applications and tested solutions for functionality, as well as deployed the proof of concept that was built in the pre-sales events.
• Interfaced with cross-functional team of business analysts, developers, other technical support, scrum masters, product owners, solution architects, product owners, programme managers and support teams and to determine comprehensive list of requirement specifications for new applications.
• Gathered and defined customer requirements to develop clear specifications for project plans including documentation explaining the requirements for the team.
• Consulted with engineering team members to determine system loads and develop improvement plans, using analytics and reporting.
• Worked closely as a team leader of a software development and testing team to design and develop robust solutions to meet client requirements for functionality, scalability and performance, whilst also being the point of contact responsible for management and reporting on the progress.
• Investigated new and emerging software applications within the business process & digital transformation industry to design, select, implement, proof of concept and present in sales meetings as well as implementation.
• Discussed project progress with customers and our internal management, collected feedback on different stages and directly addressed concerns.
• Worked with customers for needs analysis, proposal development and estimating the work effort to produce competitive estimates, that we can keep to and delivery successfully.
• Consulted regularly with customers new project proposals and software-related technical issues.
• Gathered data on integration issues and vulnerabilities and reported all findings, including improvement recommendations.
• Used agile methodologies and effective development best practices to enhance product development and cost.
• Coordinated with DevOps, hardware, system engineering leads to gather and develop system requirements.

I was contracted as a system engineer\developer and later was responsible for the design, team and delivery of a new system at Sasol Mining (South Africa's biggest coal mine producer).

We build an Azure solution using Azure IoT to monitor sensors and systems data, using DataLake and DataFactory, we were able to monitor millions of datapoints and developed an alerting and monitoring system that could would generate actions based on the policy & compliance rules engine.

This solution was build on Azure, using Azure services, such as Datalake, DataFactory, PowerBI, Azure monitoring & alerting, serverless functions, etc. The system was designed and build to be scalable and reusable (productized).

The system was successfully deployed and is functioning very well, with a recent release to the IoT market place.

I gained alot of experience and learnt very quickly about the Azure platform and capabilities.

Here I was a Microsoft developer and engineer, responsible for the customer engagements that required Microsoft development, installation & configuration, deployment of solutions such as SharePoint, CRM, customization and integration developer on Sharepoint, SQL, CRM, and custom web applications/apis, I later grew into K2 development and started building solutions that extended the microsoft technologies to meet complex and workflow requirements of clients.

I worked consulting to clients as a developer, with the sales team developing proof of concepts on Microsoft using K2 to enhance the solutions with workflow and forms custom requirements.

I grew through the years to have the knowledge of many systems such as the Microsoft stack of products, and other systems required to meet any clients complex requirements.

At neaMetrics I was a device integration software engineer, designing, building and deploying systems, that integrated with physical devices, such as biometric devices, video, image recognition, and many more.

Some of the solutions I built were used in government departments, such as home affairs, SARS police, transport authority, as well as schools and banks.

These systems were build on Microsoft infrastructure and development frameworks, such as ASP.net, Desktop and WebApplications.
