Christchurch,Halswell

Summary

I am a 36 year old male raised in Southland now residing in Christchurch. I have dedicated my life to my career in Road Surfacing as i have progress through the ranks along the way focusing on relationships, networking & building my skill set on pretty much anything i can get my hands on with a 'can-do' attitude.

I am a hard worker and this was seen in my loyalty to Fulton Hogan for 9.5 years and HEB Construction for a further 10 years, this along with my positive attitude took me from a stop/go boy to a Supervisor managing up to 30 staff and 100 bits of plant during busy sealing seasons.

I have gained experience by working with teams all over New Zealand and even working remotely in Alice Spring Australia in a training role teaching new workers correct and safe ways to work with hot bitumen and how to operate a sprayer truck. That continued within the team i lead at HEB Construction in a training and competency assessment role while completing my usual tasks of leading as a supervisor daily.

I love all things motorsport and enjoy racing karts myself. This is where i have gained some of my driving experience along with years of driving truck & trailer units mainly loaded with hot flammable liquid i would call myself a safe, confident and experienced driver.

This time last year i was offered a new role in the managing of a motorsport team, car racing has always been a love of mine so i took my shot and left what i knew to work towards my passion. Wicked experience and I played a huge part in the teams growth on social media and their presence of 21 thousand followers to over 100 thousand followers in 5 months.

Unfortunately this has come to an end due to reasons out of my control and the boss changing his lifestyle. I have thoroughly enjoyed my time as I became a role model to some and getting to drive 'one-of-one' in the world expensive racecars and tow rigs.

I quickly became a popular influencer to the young and old across New Zealand and around the world on social media, positive comments from people who enjoyed watching myself and the team on our YouTube Vlogs and our other social platforms in the year i was committed.

My partner and myself live alone in our own home, kid free but with our very loved dog in the Halswell area in Christchurch.

Being away for weeks or months at a time over the last year being based in Upper Hutt, then travelling every weekend to race events working above normal hours has also made me want to ground myself again with job security and routine and be closer to my partner and friends as i am a big people person!

I appreciate you taking the time to read through my CV and skill set, and look forward to hearing from you!
