Along with all of the above, I also helped out with meeting customers and guests in the cafe and talked them through their stay and activities that would be amazing for them to do. As well as this, I helped to care for the trekking horses on the farm. This consisted of feeding them, moving them to different areas of the farm, picking their hooves, brushing them, washing them, riding them and making sure they were all happy and healthy. I did this after work and on my days off. On my days off. I would also accompany the stock manager on the farm for duties like moving cattle, checking animal health and welfare, talk about animal grass in take etc. This is where I found my passion for wanting to work with animals.
