I am a dynamic and passionate second stewardess, and I pride myself on honesty, creativity, and compassion. I strive to create a healthy, uplifting workspace for everyone involved. Over the course of six years in the industry, I have experienced many different vessels with different programs. I have an all-rounded confidence with private and charter vessels, both motor and sail. I have taken the time to truly find where my heart lies, and I believe that has nurtured positive adaptability in my nature, to encourage growth, and to understand many types of guests and their needs.

I have expertise in formal service and housekeeping management, successfully training staff, and enhancing client relations. I thrive in high-paced environments, and I am ready to continue to learn and teach to further my career with a brilliant team.

I am an adventure-driven person who has a passion for the ocean, travel, health, and fitness.

Temp Second Stewardess

  • I joined for a 13 day Christmas and New Year's charter on short notice.
  • I had such a wonderful time working within the interior team, and experiencing this well-structured, beautifully maintained vessel.
  • This was a fast-paced program, with sailing everyday afternoon.
  • I rotated through the interior and stepped back as their 3rd Stewardess was promoted to 2nd Stew, and this was her first trip in the new role.
  • I hope to work with S/Y Twizzle in the future, all of the crew walked away with 20% tip, and very happy charter guests.

  • I joined for a 6 day Boss trip on short notice, 1 day before the arrival in Mexico.
  • This was a fantastic boat and great healthy crew.
  • This was a fast paced program where I rotated through the interior and helped to train the 3rd Stewardess.
  • I was asked to stay on for a further 3 weeks and have built a great relationship with the vessel for the future.

  • I worked as 2nd Stewardess of a 56m S/Y with just the Chief stewardess and I.
  • This was a large, strong role to fill as this is a large vessel run with high expectations.
  • With my experienced and history, I was able to adapt easily and understand the role and what was need for this position.
  • I completed many crossings and a one-month boss trip and thoroughly enjoyed my time.
  • I learned a lot of more in-depth self-management and strengthened my skills being in charge of laundry, housekeeping and running lunch services.

  • I worked as 2nd Stewardess for 2 months and due to crew change-over, I was asked at last minute to step up as Chief Stewardess for the last month of the season.
  • This has been the most transformational season in my career, I have learnt so much working on the job, with a healthy interior team, in this extremely fast paced environment.
  • I now have a much wider and deeper perspective on the industry, the cliental and the purpose of our service.
  • I am excited to continue my career as 2nd Stewardess, and continue to absorb and support a great Chief before I step into a permanent chief stewardess role.
  • I helped to train the junior and temp stewardess's once the chief Stewardess left mid- season, and then work out a detailed Shipyard/ Pack down plan for the winter period.

  • I worked as a temporary second stewardess for a 2-week Christmas and New-years charter in Tahiti, and sailed back to NZ with the vessel.
  • I was available at short notice and filled in 1 week before the Guests arrived.
  • I worked in an Interior team of 3, including the Chief Stewardess.
  • I rotated between service, housekeeping, laundry, and responsibility of crew areas.
  • During the passage from Tahiti to NZ, I was an active member of rotational watch duties and Marlin fishing when we were lucky!
  • It was refreshing and inspiring after a long hold off of employment due to Covid-19.

  • Due to Covid-19 this position ended.
  • Over the course of 10 months, I worked my way from a 2nd Stewardess, which I held 6 months.
  • It was a great sense of achievement and I embraced the challenge and re-aligned my passion for service and leadership.
  • I was involved in the management and teaching of a team of 6 Stewardess.
  • My role on charter was Lead service (Private business meetings, Family buffet meals, Hosted parties).
  • I was also involved with housekeeping, laundry and crew areas, in order to keep the team afloat in busy periods.
  • Off charter I was involved in the maintenance of the Interior and supported the Chief Stewardess with her management responsibilities.
  • I filled in for one month whilst the Chief Stewardess was away on leave.
  • My responsibilities included assisting the Chief Stewardess with admin responsibilities (work lists / check lists / provisioning for crew and Boss), stock take of alcohol on board, liaising with the Shipwright about Interior faults / repairs needed, assisting training of new crew and overseeing the interior work on a daily basis.

  • I gained a great season experience working with a large Interior team of 6, with 3 very busy Arabic charters.
  • I rotated between Housekeeping, Service and Laundry and with the great attitude and effort of the whole crew we managed to be very successful as the guests were in large, very demanding groups from 12-18 guests.
  • I learnt how to accommodate for a completely different culture within ethics, time zones, respect and religion.
  • I also accompanied guests on excursions when needed, by taking them their reservations and making sure everything ran smoothly when they were off the boat.

  • This position ended due to head injury.
  • I worked within an interior team of 4 as Junior stewardess rotating between Housekeeping of guest and crew area, laundry and service.
  • I gained extensive knowledge of Super yacht standards for detailing guest areas prior to two boss charters and the pack down of guest areas as preparation for travel when the yacht was underway.
  • I also worked watch keeping shifts when we were underway at sea.
  • I thoroughly enjoyed my time aboard EOS, living with a crew of 21 and being a part of a highly organized, well run Super Yacht.

  • Company Overview: 25m Private Motor Yacht
  • I was the in charge of Housekeeping and interior upkeep.
  • I worked with the Chef and Captain to deliver fine dining such as setting the table for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
  • I worked outside on the deck also for docking, working with the fenders and the lines.
  • Uplifting the anchor and general upkeep of the teak and wash downs.
  • I was also a baby sitter with the families' lovely children a 4-year-old boy and an 8-year-old boy.
  • This was a very intense demanding role but I thoroughly enjoyed it.
  • It was a highly rewarding program.

  • I helped the crew to recreate a beautiful interior standard for the next charter of guests with a 24-hour time frame.
  • I helped intake new stock delivery, and organized it accordingly.
