I am respectful, honest, hardworking, and have a strong drive to challenge myself and learn new things. After several years of prioritizing the care of my children, I returned to work in 2021. I have loved the opportunity to develop new skills, contribute to a team, and connect with patients and families. Throughout my career, I have been able to utilize many of my parenting skills and experiences within the aged care sector, as a rehabilitation assistant for inpatients, and in my current role as an administrator for the Practice Development Unit at Dunedin Hospital, as well as my voluntary role as Junior Football Coordinator. I find helping others extremely rewarding, and I enjoy collaborating with people. Whether it is in the work environment or the sports field, my ethos is to ensure others feel safe, enabled, and confident to put their best foot forward. My involvement in both football and futsal as a player, coach, and manager for over 25 years demonstrates that I value being part of a team, volunteering, and looking after my own and other people's well-being. My commitment to football and receiving numerous prestigious awards as a player show that I aim high, and I am determined to excel in areas in which I am enthusiastic. I have been through many leaps and bounds over the years, but it has made me a stronger person, and I have a very positive outlook on life.
