I am a mature, responsible and reliable young lady. I am willing to learn new things and work hard to achieve my goals, I am not afraid of new challenges. I am self-motivated to complete my tasks to a high standard. I have a friendly and kind personality who someone can easily be comfortable enough to approach.
I have been working at Badboy Graphixs for almost two years now, during my time there I have acquired a certificate in house window tinting, vehicle wrapping and Window Film Sales and Specifier Training. My role at Badboy Graphix involves managing incoming clothing orders through to production. When my other work colleges get called out onto jobs off site I am left in charge of running the work shop for example, answering the phone, providing customer service and taking orders. As I got a better understanding of the work place I have started to learn more about the office/digital design side of Badboy Graphix.
During my time working at New World I had the opportunity to train and become a lotto checkout operator. When I was working in the lotto department it meant I was one of the first people customers would see when the walked in the door. Throughout the 12 months working I would spend half my time at checkout and the other half at lotto from doing this I developed very good customer service skills.
I worked part-time at New World 3 days a week including after school and weekends. During my time there I was also getting trained to become and checkout supervisor.
During my last year at Greymouth High School I had the opportunity to choose a workplace I had an interest having a career in after I had finished school.
Part of my Gateway program is having work experience at a work place for 10 weeks, one day a week to get a better understanding of what it's like inside the Beauty Working Industry.
