Hobbies

Maintaining a balanced life is an important and strong aspect of living. Whilst I am a driven person who is willing to go above and beyond at work, it is vital to encourage a balanced mindset by engaging in various hobbies.

Music - I love to play guitar and sing. Music is an experience that brings me peace of mind, body and soul, and allows a creative outlet.

Reading - Reading fascinates me and allows me to expand my mind to explore the fantastical realms of power and magic alongside books that explore others perspectives about love, life, work, and mental health.

Mental Health - Understanding one's mental health and ensuring a future where the mind is at peace has always been a strong focus of mine. I like to explore new and inventive ways of fostering a happy and healthy mindset. Ie; exploring local cuisine, finding cute new coffee spots, yoga, artistic projects, being a plant mom, etc.

Arts - from time to time I get a burst of creativity that needs to be explored, from painting to writing, I have been sure to engage in finding new ways to express myself and bring my visions to life whether on the canvas or in a diary.

Games - a popular fun time for myself is to hang out with my partner at game-on or timezone, playing loads of arcade games then following up with a great meal, movie time and enjoying a pint of duck island ice cream. This is sometimes my favourite time of the week as being able to break out of the constant run of life and have some fun with my favourite person, making the rest of life easy to handle and giving me motivation to push harder.

Goals

As a third year law student, there are several aspects of the law that I have discovered over my study period that fascinate me. The most fascinating are;

  • Contract Law.
  • Tort Law.
  • Unjust Enrichment.
  • Intellectual Property Law.

When I think about where I'd like to be with my career in 5 years I picture myself as a civil litigator, working with clients to achieve the best possible outcome for them and progressing in the firm to become the best possible lawyer while assisting my coworkers to encourage the growth of the firm as a whole.
