My work here involves working In this role, I warmly greeted customers, helping to create a positive in-store experience. I provided expert advice and product recommendations while efficiently managing inquiries, concerns, and returns. My responsibilities also included accurate transaction processing, proactive inventory tracking, and collaboration with colleagues and vendors to promptly resolve customer issues. Proficient in point-of-sale systems, I maintained a clean workspace, educating customers on product usage, and handled returns and complaints professionally. Staying updated on industry trends through ongoing training was essential to my commitment to excellent service.
My work here involved working in the kitchen, helping front of house with customers plus some waitressing. Due to the small size of the café and the number of staff (usually 3) it was important that I was always on my toes to help either the chef with preparing the food or helping the front of house with getting things out to the customers.
I have also worked at the Hamilton Gardens Café mainly cleaning dishes and floors, I would also assist in collecting food and supplies for the chef when needed. I worked there for a short time prior to Covid.
I worked at Mavis and Co filling in for a friend for a short time while he was away, I would clean the floors three times a week.
