Through my years of working in different fields of hard work and problems solving ive developed a very strong work ethic and learn quick. allthough most of my time at powertech has been underground and energy retailer work i have knowledge and skill relating to overhead work. i enjoy the variety of work overhead construction and maintenance brings.
Since starting at powertech i have obtained my level 4 electricity supply (line mechanic distribution) qualification, A large portion of my time since qualified has been running subdevision work and streetlight replacement under the tdc and ncc contract Powertech has.
In febuary 2021, I moved from Takaka to work at Higgins Fencing. There i was the main digger driver and soon became one of the formans. Running my own jobs with normally one person go give me hand. There i gained skills around machinery operating and improving my work ethic. Working long hours to get the job at hand complete.
After leaving school with NCEA level 2 under my belt, I started at Alliance plumbing working for Shane Harwood in Takaka as a labourer, learning alot about the skills needed and work ethic required as part of working in a trade
