During my Bachelor of Health Science degree in Podiatry, I have gained extensive clinical experience across various settings, enhancing my understanding of the diverse roles and capabilities of podiatrists:

• Middlemore Hospital: Completed an 8-week placement at one of New Zealand’s busiest hospitals, working alongside multiple senior podiatrists. During this time, I assisted in the care and treatment of diabetic foot conditions and foot amputations, particularly within the dialysis unit and hospital wards.
• Private Podiatry Clinics: Accumulated extensive hours in multiple private clinics, each with its own areas of expertise. These experiences broadened my knowledge of common podiatric presentations and the varied approaches to patient care.
• AUT Integrated Student Clinic: Actively practiced and applied clinical skills at Auckland University of Technology’s student-integrated clinic. I translated classroom knowledge into real-world practice under supervision, honing my diagnostic and treatment abilities.

• Provided exceptional customer service by assisting customers with their inquiries, locating products, and educating them on product selection.
• Demonstrated strong communication skills by actively engaging in team discussions and training sessions to ensure that product and store knowledge was consistently updated, enabling effective customer service delivery.
