• Students' year level between Year 3-Year 11 in NZ; Year 2-Year 10 in Australia.
• Reviewed course material prior to each session in order to ensure accuracy of information presented.
• Built student self-confidence by working through stages of problem solving. Introducing concepts by using examples with positive reinforcement techniques.
• Taught note-taking techniques and test strategies. Make sure that student receive step-by-step procedure of solving a problem, and practicing about the new strategy.
• Demonstrated various methods for solving mathematics problems using visual aids, diagrams.
• Collaborated with parents to determine student needs, develop tutoring plans and assess student progress.

Piano:

• Provided opportunities for student aged 8-14 to reach fullest potential through artistic, creative expression.
• Coordinated with school, students and parents regarding afterschool rehearsals and performances.

Maths:

• Most of my student were between Year 9 and Year 11. Teaching content based on students' classroom content, exam focuses and their personal needs.
• Using appropriate examples from life to help my student understood new knowledge or confusing content they have encountered at school.
• According to each learner's strengths and ability, adjust my teaching style and ways of explaining
• Providing them practice questions ensure they are familiar with new skills & techniques of solving problems.
• Create enthusiasm for learning and their academic progress have significantly expanded under my guidance.

• This marked my inaugural practicum placement through the UoA Education program. Commencing on August 15, 2022, I embarked on my practicum journey at TNIS while continuing my studies at UoA.
• As a student-teacher, I had the invaluable opportunity to co-teach and learn alongside my associate teacher at TNIS, which provided me with a wealth of enriching teaching and learning experiences.
• Evaluated student work, provided feedback, and tracked their progress over time.
• Facilitated group discussions among students on relevant topics.
• Planned and implemented lessons using various teaching strategies to meet diverse student needs.
• Collaborated with faculty members to discuss student progress and develop strategies for improvement.
• Throughout my practicum, I carried out full-day teaching, designed numerous lesson plans, actively participated in teacher meetings and daily events, and diligently carried out evaluations and observations.
• Over the course of the 7-week practicum, my teaching strategies and capabilities were greatly enhanced.
• This professional experience significantly broadened my skill set and fostered my growth as an educator, equipping me to excel in the teaching profession.
