I am currently a student under the Bachelor of Education (Primary teaching) of University of Auckland. I enrolled my programme from Jul, 2022 and plan to finish it in Jun, 2025. With my future goals and passion for teaching in mind, I am actively seeking a part-time position, specifically instructing students aged between 10-16. Ideally, I am aiming for a commitment of 4-8 hours per week, as this will afford me valuable teaching experience and further enhance my practical pedagogical skills. This marked my inaugural practicum placement through the UoA Education program. Commencing on August 15, 2022, I embarked on my practicum journey at TNIS while continuing my studies at UoA.
As a student-teacher, I had the invaluable opportunity to co-teach and learn alongside my associate teacher at TNIS, which provided me with a wealth of enriching teaching and learning experiences.
Evaluated student work, provided feedback, and tracked their progress over time.
Facilitated group discussions among students on relevant topics.
Planned and implemented lessons using various teaching strategies to meet diverse student needs.
Collaborated with faculty members to discuss student progress and develop strategies for improvement.
Throughout my practicum, I carried out full-day teaching, designed numerous lesson plans, actively participated in teacher meetings and daily events, and diligently carried out evaluations and observations.
