Via Redvespa I was given the role as a Business Analyst on the REAL (Recipe Enhancement and labelling) project. The project primarily revolves around the implementation of the Upshop software, a transformative solution aimed at optimizing the recipe management business processes and re-assuring the compliance of their labels.

Responsibilities:

• Conducted a comprehensive analysis of the current business processes to identify areas for improvement and optimization
• Collaborated with multidisciplinary teams for the definition of current and future business processes, ensuring alignment with project goals
• Played a key role in designing the future process framework for the Upshop software, focusing on efficiency and effectiveness
• Facilitated workshops and meetings with stakeholders, gathering input and requirements for process design
• Engaged in validation process and improvement with Upshop, ensuring that the project's objectives were met
• Contributed to the development of high-value business documents and reports to guide project progress.

I was offered the opportunity to take a full-time role as a business analyst for the Belgian Police.

The i-Police project aims at the complete renewal of the IT and business architecture of the Belgian Police. The digital transformation impacts more than 50.000 end-users

Within I-Police I worked on the implementation of a case management system, a commercial of the shelf that served as a quick-win within the greater i-Police rollout program

The SAFE Agile methodology was used throughout the entire project.

Responsibilities:

• Definition and modelling of the AS-IS and TO-BE business processes of the Belgian International police department
• Facilitating in the creation of the conceptual data model
• Conducting GAP-analysis between the legacy and future applications
• Organizing and facilitating of requirement workshops
• Gathering and defining business requirements
• Definition of new business rules and clarification of existing ones
• Implementing and automating business processes by collaborating with cross-functional teams to design solutions
• Preparing and improving the demo shown after each PI
• Participation at PI event and validating of the PI
• Organising and facilitating in scoping meetings
• Creation and validation of features and user stories
• Establishing and delivering high value business documents.
• Collaborated with stakeholders to define project objectives and criteria.
• Interacted with internal customers to understand business needs and translate into requirements and project scope.

During the two years that I worked for Trifinance, experience was acquired over four different projects for three different clients. Below a brief summary for each of these clients as well as the main responsibilities for each project:

BNP Leasing solutions

BNPLS is supporting affiliated vendors with financing for agriculture and construction equipment.

During my first project with this client I had the role as an underwriter, my main responsibilities were the following:

• Analysis of leasing applications:
• Gathering financial and qualitative information from the vendors and clients
• Determining the credit profile of the customer o Balance sheet analysis: liquidity, profitability and solvency ratio's
• Review of leasing requests and approving loans within my authorizations
• Negotiation with the sales department
• Monitoring the decisions made by the DMM
• Review of the leasing contracts
• Process improvement: analysis and visualization of current credit validation workflow. Once this business process was defined, it served as the basis for the transition between a paper and digital workflow later on during the project.

For my second project, BNPLS asked me to give temporary support during the migration for the division in the Netherlands. The following experience was gained during this second project:

• Providing training
• Creating of manuals
• Consolidate and report data.
• Coping with people with different cultural backgrounds in a changing environment.

Volkwagen In-house bank

The auto brand Volkswagen is a vast company with divisions all over the world. In order to get correct financing for these divisions, they have their own in house bank. In this project I fulfilled the role as a bookkeeper:

• Handling the daily and monthly Accounts Payable/Receivable, Banks and Fixed Assets
• Create and update of SAP vendor master data
• Verify and review invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior payment
• Book Vendor transactions and Expense notes
• Prepare and process payment proposals

Puratos

Puratos creates and supplies raw materials to bakeries all over the world. With over a billion euro's in revenue, Puratos is a market leader within its segment. During my time at the project, experience was acquired as an AP accountant:

• Booking invoices in SAP using PO matching

• Solving price and quantity discrepancies

• Monthly VAT corrections

• All round management of client portfolio (+- 60 companies)
• Daily Calculation and provision of working capital funding's
• Risk management and legal actions
• Purchasing and invoice matching
• Matching of payment discrepancies
• Debtor management/collections.
