Roles

Responsibilities

  • $12M portfolio budget responsibility
  • Leadership of a team of 6 FTE
  • Overseeing planning & production of all brand advertising
  • Brand development and guardianship
  • Negotiation, measurement and activation of sponsorship and community partnerships.

Key achievements & outcomes

  • Built a high performing culture in direct team resulting in a team engagement score increase from 75% in 2020 to 90% in 2022.
  • In partnership with the HoD, developed the strategy that resulted in a shift from #3 to #1 preferred general insurer - sustained 12 quarters running.
  • Lifted brand recognition scores to reach NZ norms and above
  • First business in New Zealand to test Google AI tool, Performance Max. Result: Reduction in costs per application of 64%, lifting applications from digital media by 12% and reduction in manual handling time by 33%.
  • Negotiation and onboarding of Eden Park, Variety-the children’s charity sponsorship and various media partnerships
  • Led the strategy for the Big Little Sponsorship community programme and have overseen teams run the programme for the last 6 years.
  • Selected to be part of a cross functional group of operational leaders to manage a monthly business results pack to track business performance for the c-suite.
