Summary

I am a confident, experienced performer with many years of dance/drama training and singing.

Over time, I have performed, danced and sang in countless productions, magician shows and dance shows in New Zealand, and overseas too.

I have also choreographed and produced two of my own dance productions.

I am ready to challenge myself once again, take on direction, and be a part of something new.

Age eleven, I was in the ensemble for “Alice in Wonderland” at “The Playhouse Theatre” I played the Dodo bird and a Card

Age fifteen, I was in the ensemble for "Our House" at Lynfield College school production playing a teenager

Age sixteen I played my first main character, Sophie in "For Today" school production at Lynfield College

Age seventeen, I played Mrs Hannigan in "Annie" at Lynfield College The same year, I performed as Hermia In "A midsummer nights dream" with the extra performing arts class I was in

During my time working as a magicians assistant, I played several characters including “Olga the crazy maid”, and many “damsel in distress” characters

Age Twenty three, I played Ed in the "Lion King" during my Bahamas Contract at The Viva Wyndham resort

  • Singing

My father is a professional singer and guitar player, and had a music school in Invercargill He gave me voice lessons as a child and play guitar while I sang for auditions When I turned fifteen I started singing in his annual music school productions

I was in the school choir in high school and sang in all the school productions, big and small roles

During my dance contract overseas I sang once a week to open karaoke night

I am now taking weekly voice lessons with Cherie Moore

From the age of four to eighteen, I trained in ballet & Jazz at “Auckland West Dance Academy” I won many first place and special awards, danced in many shows and won many competitions

From eighteen to twenty three I taught Jazz and Lyrical Dance at “Waitakere City School of Dance” I had 15 classes a week, plus private competition students Throughout my time teaching, I also performed as a magicians assistant for “Andre Vegas Magic and Illusion” We performed every weekend and school holidays at “Rainbows End” and other corporate events

When I was twenty three I was accepted to do a six month dance contract at a resort in the Bahamas We would have dance rehearsals every day, and performed in different themed dance shows each night of the week, group dances, solos and acting performances

When I returned from overseas, I began teaching again and decided to get my own cast together and create my own dance show I choreographed and produced “Destined to dance” with a cast of twenty in 2020 Followed by “Naughty Nineties” in 2022
