Acting as a finance business partner to foster collaboration between finance team and fund and asset management teams across multiple property funds towards shared objectives as well as provide insightful analysis, strategic and tactical financial support and solutions to senior leadership teams in Australia and New Zealand

• Enhance overall business performance by providing fund and asset managers with timely and accurate financial insights from annual budgets and regularly updated forecasts to inform strategic decision making
• Improve financial outcomes with careful, in-depth analysis and proactive recommendations to the asset management team for investor distribution profiles
• Coordinate with fund and asset managers to develop and execute long-term investment strategies for single-asset and multi-asset property funds
• Undertake scenario analysis, and model financial implications of alternative scenarios to support executive decision-making
• Prepare quarterly financial reports for the Board and senior management that provide insights on financial performance, position, themes and trends across the portfolio of assets
• Develop financial models to assess and evaluate feasibilities for acquisitions and divestments and identify potential risks with the potential investments and developments
• Review and analyse monthly variance reports that track and measure actual performance against budgets and facilitate corrective actions when necessary
• Participate in preparation of presentations and data tables ahead of investor meetings
• Monitor and adhere to compliance requirements for covenant deliverables
• Negotiate refinancing or new loan deals with multiple banks
• Enhance, innovate and improve existing forecasting models and processes to manage risk

Led month-end and year-end financial reporting processes, delivered all monthly reporting packs and supported executive strategic decision-making with in-depth financial analysis and business performance forecasts

• Led the month-end process from end to end, including Oracle JDE/IBM Planning Analytics/Hyperion system integrations, produced management accounts and ensured that accurate monthly financials and forecasts were completed, consolidated and provided to corporate departments in a timely manner
• Initiated and executed process improvements that increased the efficiency of budgeting and forecasting cycles while maintaining accuracy standards
• Played a key role in annual audits by preparing detailed schedules, supporting documentation, and coordinating effectively with external auditors throughout the process
