Finished Level 4 Fitness Leader at NZIHF and currently Studying Level 5 due to be completed by November 2024 by distance. Currently filling in taking parts of group fitness classes at Garage Gym in Methven. My passion for fitness began 8 years ago after attempting the "Peak to Pub" multisport event and really struggling which led me to consult with a trainer friend of mine and attending his classes and losing over 25kg. I have been an avid gym goer ever since and firmly believe in the physical and mental benefits that exercise brings
I enjoy music, singing and playing guitar. I often do musical theatre locally in Ashburton and play at private functions and restaurants and bars in my spare time.
I have a dog named Blue who is a border collie and very active and gets me out of the house.
I do not currently have a First Aid Certificate but happy to obtain one. I have had three or four in the past but they will be expired.
I am not currently REPS registered but have done elective courses in Nutrition, Strength, Power and Plyometric Training and HIIT Training which all provide points. I am signed up for Boxing Fundamentals and Mobility and Movement later in the year.
