The Role of Support Worker at the Creative Shed Space really interest's me because after reading the job description and then gaining more detailed information from you, it aligns with my values.

As you will see from my attached CV,  I feel that my skills and experiences match this role well and  that I would add value to your team.

I have found that working with people with differing abilities is inspiring, and generally speaking, have gifts with creative expression, learn in unique ways and are less focused on their inner critic. 

These include people with physical, emotional and mental health challenges.


The diverse range of personal and professional skills I have developed, working in variety of organisations, especially in the disability sector include: 

Having a friendly and empathic nature and a calm disposition; a huge drive to help, support and engage with others to support them to be the best version of themselves; a natural rapport with people and have an inclusive way of working with colleagues and participants and their whanau. 

The focus has always been on supporting an individuals strengths to empower and ultimately become more independent and self assured;  I am confident in working with individuals and in small and large groups.


Having worked as a support person, life skills educator, an art tutor, musician and natural health practitioner/councillor, I would enjoy the variety this position offers.

My experience has  led me to working with a diverse range of children, youth, adults and the elderly.

Im spontaneous, flexible,adaptable, a good communicator with a great sense of humour. I thrive working in a variety of environments/settings and show initiative in response to differing situations.
