• Soil pH and its impact on plant-fungi interactions (Jul-Oct 2022).

My role in this project required significant coordination around tight deadlines for sample collection, lab preparation and data collection. This project also provided laboratory experience with plant and fungal tissues.

• Microbiome profiling in native ecosystems (Feb-Jun 2022).

This project involved maintaining samples of environmental microbial cultures with specialised media and basic lab techniques. Through this project I understood various culture techniques for fungal samples and their technical limitations as well as basic species identification.
