Growing up, I always played rugby and cricket, so working as a team comes second nature to me. I won Sportsman of the Year three times in a row and played fly half, so I needed to be a good communicator. Teamwork and communication are my two strongest assets I can give to a team, and I am always keen on giving things a crack. I'm keen on being an electrician because I enjoyed taking electronics in school and thought it could be something I would like to do for work. After doing the Elite Course with Etco, I now know it was the right choice because, when doing practical work, I thoroughly enjoyed it. Since the beginning of 2023, I have started my apprenticeship with Etco and have had two placements, one with Energy Services and the other with Link Electrical. Energy Services were heavily commercial and residential-based, while Link was all industrial. Both companies ended up running out of work for me to continue, but I believe it has given me an opportunity to work in and experience all the different electrical fields. I'm a keen worker and am looking for another place to crack on with my apprenticeship so I can get qualified as soon as possible.
