I currently hold the service licence. I am responsible for managing the Home based Educators and Nannies in the network, planning for and facilitating regular music groups, playgroups, excursions and events in the region. The role involves ongoing mentoring of the educators and nannies and supporting them to plan for the tamariki in their care.
I report to parents/whanau about the tamariki progress and am accountable for all ongoing licensing and regulatory administration and curriculum planning.

Full time teacher worked within a passionate new Early Childhood Centre. The Centre prided itself on a philosophy utilising the virtues project. I was responsible for planning collaboratively with the team, individually for the tamariki and planning daily for my own group of tamariki.

Relieving on a day to day basis for a variety of Kindergarten's in Manawatu. I also held a permanent part time position at Makino Kindergarten until my 2nd child was born in March 2012.

I was Head Teacher of the Over Two's Section at UKIDZ. Ukidz was an urban childcare centre owned by UCOL, catering for staff and students of UCOL and also members of the community. I was responsible for up to 30 tamariki and 8 teachers. Roles included curriculum planning, rosters and infocare admin system. I was overseen by the Centre manager.

Teacher in a busy urban community child care centre. I had positions in both the under and over two sections over this time. Responsible for daily curriculum implementation for group and individual tamariki and working collaboratively in a team of teachers. I had a group of key children to be accountable for their daily needs and work in partnerships with their whanau on this.
