Clariz Nares

I have always been so passionate about children. I started my teaching career by volunteering as a teacher at the church I attended back in 2017 and 2018. I enjoyed creating lesson plans and delivering them. In 2020 I decided to pursue education and completed a Graduate Diploma as an ECE teacher. My heart has always been towards the juniors. Although, later that year, I wanted a new challenge and made the move to becoming a primary teacher. I have had the privilege to teach year 1, 2, and 3s. Throughout the 3 years I spent as a primary teacher, my passion and desire to support children's development and learning grew more as I began to see the influence and difference I have made and can continue to make. There is a great joy that comes with seeing children from very little knowledge as a new entrant to being able to read at Level 18, write at (early) Level 1 and solve different math problems.

However, as I enter a new season of being a new mum, I wanted to look for a job where I can spend time with my son and still be able to do what I love to do. I am interested in becoming a tutor and I am looking forward to see how I can grow and help children grow with this new journey.
