Process Operator – Blood Department

Collecting blood from cattle (cows and bulls) during slaughter operations

• Production key role/ team leader brings a combination of strong leadership skills and ability to control overall operations. Coordinated and supervised daily line operations with proper hygiene. Ensured processed products met all quality standard and maintained necessary level of communication between shifts.
• Controlled and monitored the entire blanching department, adjusting machine speed and blancher temperatures to meet product and production requirements.
• Conducted hourly product quality tests using chemicals to ensure correct blanching and consistent texture standards.
• Safely handled a variety of chemicals including hydrogen peroxide, guaiacol, XY 12, foam Klenz, Oxonia active, Kettlebrite, and SAPP for testing and sanitation purposes.
• Operated computer systems to manage production parameters such as blanching speed, water usage, temperature adjustments, and overall factory performance.
• Collaborated with multiple departments including Quality Assurance, Intake, Packing, Dehydration, and Weighbridge to coordinate smooth and efficient production workflows.

• Applied protective coatings to exterior and interior surfaces including tire shine, window treatment, leather conditioner, and plastic protectants.
• Operated a range of grooming equipment safely, including vacuum cleaners, steamers, buffers, and pressure washers, ensuring regular maintenance and cleanliness of tools.
