Driving quad side tippers from mines in Pilbara to Port Hedland. Working a rolling shift approximately 70-84hours per week.
FIFO Working 8 week on 2 week off.

Carrying out basic maintenance including tyre changes, basic repairs like fixing air or fluid leaks,belt replacements, chaining up axles in event of wheel bearing failures, ‘caging’ brake pod in event of ruptured brake diaphragm or air leak, etc.
Loading and transporting civil earthmoving equipment, excavators,loaders, graders, rollers,dump trucks etc on Kenworth K200 oversized transporter and unloading equipment. Following all health and safety protocols for various civil sites.Maintaing accurate digital records of deliveries and machine hour readings etc.Customer service as delivery and collection often only physical interaction company has with clients. Cleaning , scheduling service , recording and refuelling plant and equipment. Left if own volition after only 2 months to pursue higher income in Australia operating road trains.
Initially employed by Allied Work Force and contracted to Spiral Drillers Civil as class 5 driver operating 18spd Road Ranger over length semi unit carting over length steel reinforcing cages and steel casing as well as driving class 5 tipping unit to enable major State Highway 1 repairs in Mangamuka gorge were then offered full time employment directly by Spiral Drillers Civil so were effectively working for same manager for 2years although technically were with AWF for 1yr approximately and SDC for 1 yr. Left to work for Ace Rental when Auckland based company ran out of work for truck in Northland.
