This roofing company is owned by my god father so just like Hokinui haulage I have been helping out at this company (RoofingAround) for a few years now learning a lot about the trade but most importantly in my opinion learning how to use a big variety of tools at a young age. At the start of my time working here my main duties were mixed with cleaning up the pieces of scrap metal, nails, cutoffs, ETC. As I got on i got to be up on the roof a lot more laying new sheets and taking them of with no assistance.

This workplace is a family owned business so I have been helping around the yard for quite a lot longer than I was properly employed for. In this role my tasks/responsibilities were bagging coal, delivering coal, tidying up work trucks, a little bit of forklift work, and helping out with some other deliveries here and there. Definitely learned a lot doing this job such as time management, discipline from working outdoors in various weather conditions, and a lot of hands on experience.
