My professional career in the Mental Health and Wellbeing support area begun in February 2023, where I begun working as a volunteer at Rhodes on Cashmere retirement village. In May of 2023 they employed me as a wellness partner. After I graduated from my certificate of Mental Health and Wellbeing in December 2023 I worked full time there for the summer and in February 2024 I started a second job working at St Allisa retirement village as a wellness partner. I am still currently working full time between both jobs currently which of both I enjoy immensely.
I believe I am somebody who demonstrates many effective skills in my current role as a wellness partner. I am confident that throughout my career, my personal development as a support worker will only push me to grow as I learn more over time.
