I am an organised professional with a strong ethic to do what needs to be done. That always being with a smile on my face. I do well at problem-solving and nurturing teamwork, though I also work very well independently. I have an amazing attention to detail in whatever I am focused on. As a business owner, I successfully manage operations while advocating for domestic violence awareness through my nonprofit apparel brand.
I was a volunteer at a rest home when I was younger.
This included washing, drying and folding laundry. Cleaning residents rooms and common areas.
I also helped as a kitchen hand, preparing food as well as delivery food to residents rooms and common areas.
For a number of years I cared for my brothers children part time.
Childcare included but was no limited to, teaching basic motor skills, outdoor excursions, food preparation and over night stays.
I was employed as an Event Staff Coordinator/Supervisor.
This role included but was not limited to;
employing event staff, overseeing all events staff, administration.
Hosting guests by guidance, service of food and beverage.
Organising and hosting entertainment.
Overseeing entire event.
I have multiple years experience with dairy farming.
Though never officially employed I grew up dairy farming. I have skills including but not limited to; milking cows, using farm vehicles, fencing and limited tractor driving.
I am a singer song writer.
I have been a musician for as long as I can remember, really delving into it in my adulthood.
In 2013 I was the lead vocalist in a Youth band.
Since then I have been writing and releasing my own music.
I speak publicly on domestic violence awareness nationwide coming from a social media platform I have spreading domestic violence awareness.
I own and operate a non-profit apparel business.
I created The Azalia Apparel in 2020 after my sister passed away due to domestic violence. I run The Azalia Apparel giving all profits to different nominated Family Violence charities.
In 2016 I competed in Ngā Kapa Haka Kura Tuarua o Aotearoa.
