I am a engineer operator of a CNC mill and lathes, I also do manual machining on a manual mill and lathe.

This work is production work made up from steel billets and casting work, also sheet work that gets laser cut.

I program and machine all kinds of work that we do including materials like brass, aluminium, stainless steel and casting work.

What I do in my day is set a CNC mill from putting my program in the machine, setting up my table and jigs in right spots. I know how to set my work shifts for a CNC mill also and my tooling required for the job and making sure runs perfect without problems and finish product comes out perfect.

I don't know to program fully yet, but I am learning.

With lathes I know how to put jaws in spinning true and right clamps, I also know how to put tooling, also can put the programs into the machine confidently.

The stuff I make, nuts and bolts, machine gun holders, stuff for war, gold mining equipment, knife blades also known as a big machine we make for butchers equipment. Also know how to bring steels in from a truck too and deliveries we need to take out for order.

• Used hand and power tools, instruments and equipment with utmost safety to protect all team members.
• Built floor layout and put steel fixtures in before concrete was poured and set up all boxing.
• know how to put all frames up from a new build and level and also trusses in and all fixtures in required for frames and trusses.
• know how to put window in.
• jib work and all types of finish work for inside a home like skirting and door frames also putting doors in.
• Done a few decks and renovations too.
