I am a fourth and final year student at the University of Auckland pursuing a Bachelor of Honours in Civil Engineering, with up to two years of experience interning at a geotechnical consultancy throughout my undergraduate studies. I am seeking a Civil Engineering graduate programme that will allow me to further develop my hands-on experience, expand my technical and design knowledge, and contribute to engineering projects within a collaborative team environment. - Utilise CAD software to create geological cross sections and site plans.
- Conducting geotechnical site investigations through borehole loggings with the use of hand augers, shear vane, and scala penetrometer.
- Prepared Geotechnical Investigation Reports (GIRs) to support clients in the approval of the Resource and Building Consent.
- Reviewing structural engineering calculations and drawings to ensure compliance with New Zealand standards and our geotechnical recommendations.
- Setting up slope stability models for long-term static, raised groundwater level, and seismic using Slide2.
