Contract position coordinating and supporting marketing and membership efforts for Eastern Bays Bowls, the network of community lawn bowling clubs in Auckland’s eastern suburbs: Glendowie Bowling Club, Kohimarama Bowling Club and St Heliers Bowling Club. Introduced planning and procedures for membership events, coordinated sponsorship opportunities and community outreach as well as print and online media.
Regular duties:
● Grow membership base
● Establish relationship with three club volunteer boards and the appointed liaison
● Understanding how to solve problems - require independent vision
● Perceive each clubs’ requirements and support the target goals for membership, events and volunteers
- Attending, documenting and promoting club member and public events
- Organising first Battle of the Bays, lawn bowls tournament for local secondary schools
- Encouraging public attendance at social bowls events and follow up to build contact
- As needed, create and distribute communications to club members
Assist Executive Board in its administrative and event related activities engaging Old Boys worldwide. Advocate for AGSOBA’s key objectives:
● To support the School through fundraising to enrich the quality of education for present and future generations of students
● To provide a voice for Old Boys and encourage links to the School and each other
● To promote and enhance the Auckland Grammar School brand in the community
