Providing a broad range of services relating to traditional Māori health and wellbeing such as personal/professional coaching, workshops for DHBs and vendors, delivering workshops and wānanga on rongoā and mirimiri, whare hauora / community based clinic start ups. Teaching the Level 5 Diploma and the Level 4 Certificate in Rongoa, in the School of Health and Leisure Studies using formal western and mātauranga Māori based educational models of practice.
Teaching postgraduate students in nursing around the analyse and application of pharmacology science, clinical guidelines, and research evidence to the therapeutic use of drugs, and appling relevant legislation, professional and economic regulation of drug therapy, to advanced health professional practice.
Providing expert mātauranga Māori based content in the teaching of the Level 5 Diploma in Early Childhood and the First Year Bachelors Degree, focussing on the health and wellbeing of infants and young children using traditional mātauranga Māori.
Teaching the Level 3 Certificiate in Kaioranga (Māori horticulture) based both out in the field and in the classroom using a mātauranga Māori based curriculum.
Providing expert teaching of all the 2nd year Bachelor of Nursing students in traditional mātauranga Māori based approaches to health and wellbeing.
Providing expert library advice and support to postgraduate staff, students, researchers, donors and the public relating to postgraduate research. This included advice on the acquisition of resources for postgraduate courses, the delivery of an after hours service, delivering library tutorials, and also general library duties.
Leading the delivery of the organisation's library services across the country and providing strategic advice to the Director on the development, delivery and/or review of library services.
