1. Assist Study Coordinators

  • Ensure that all assigned activities are carried out in accordance with the study protocol and standards and in compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines (ICH/GCP), NZCR policies and NZCR Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's)
  • Assist the SCs to ensure all study milestones are achieved for each phase of the study lifecycle
  • Assist and support the SCs with the planning, coordination and implementation of study protocols, ensuring timely and efficient workflow. This includes attending to delegated day-to-day activities and procedures
  • Assist SC in managing study participants during screening and admission
  • Assist SC in serving as the primary point of liaison and coordination between investigators, NZCR staff, study participants, sponsors and Ethics committees
  • In collaboration with the study, the team attends the Study Initiation Visits (SIV) and other study-related meetings as required
  • Prepare study documentation (e.g. screening and workbooks) and collate source documents, maintaining a timely supply of screening and main workbooks

2. Clinical Data Coordination

  • Accurate transcription from source workbooks to electronic data capture systems (CRFs)
  • Resolve queries as they arise in collaboration with the study coordinator as required
  • Attend protocol-specific training to ensure all training requirements for the study are completed
  • Assist with monitoring visit preparation
  • Ensure data is entered for monitoring visits

  • Liaise with the nursing team to resolve source data issues
  • Certifying NZCR urinalysis results that require data entry
