I have been nursing for 23yrs, my nursing philosophy is characterised by taking a holistic, empathetic and culturally sensitive approach to health care delivery with a particular interest in Health literacy and health inequities. I have a strong interest in growing our profession and have actively been supportive in cultural mentorship and supervision of New Graduate Nurses Maori/ Pasifika to support transition into their first year of practice integrating cultural values steeped in Te Ao Maori.
