I have been in real estate for over 20 years starting with Main Realty which shortly became C21 Howick. I was a proficient agent often hitting targets that were, given the current climate within the sector, considered to be unattainable. After 4 years in the industry and close to the start of the GFC I diversified my skills and passion for real estate into developing, marketing and managing a real estate software sales programme. I marketed and managed this product for 13 years until it was sold to a competitor company. I joined Bayleys Real Estate in 2009 and was EA and team co-ordinator for one of the high achievers for a period of 9 years. In 2018 I was pursued by another high performer and moved to Ray White to take the position of Client Manager and Sales for another successful and renown team. This is my current position. I have a determination for professional development which saw me undertake a Conveyancing diploma. Due to circumstances outside of my control and the restructuring of the diploma, I decided not to complete this but I do have 5 conveyancing papers which holds me in good stead with aspects of real estate law. I have a passion for compliance which lead me to pursue my Branch Manager’s license as I considered the industry was lacking the professional awareness that it deserved, in the eyes of the public. In my present role I was an integral part in restructuring the team I joined and steered them away from a complex and ineffective structure to the cost efficient and productive team that it is today. Systems and processes were developed which enhanced the existing skills available to us and over time we became a team driven by motivation, energy, financial success and reward and self-satisfaction. I believe I have the required skills to work effectively and with all levels of interaction in this industry and to collaboratively build a team that is functional and effective whilst still being able to enjoy coming to work each day.
