Prior to working in the building industry, I was working for Enzine international on land rigs for 2 years where i made it to the roll of lead floor floorman,
From then on i have been in the building industry, for 20 years,
13 of that i had my own business where i employed 3 to 5 staff at any one point. Along with several trade contractors, Plumbers, sparky, Painters, Gib stoppers, Tilers,
This quickly led to myself not being on the tools very often,
I dealt with all aspects of the business, Doing all the quoting, customer visits finding out what people were trying to achieve and doing my best to make there dream a reality.
This also included all ordering of materials, Dealing with multiple suppliers, Councils, All aspects of project managment,
Creating new relationships with other company's,
I thrive on challenges and working under pressure as we would be often meeting deadlines for customers,
I enjoy working with people and creating lasting relationships often doing repeat work for them.
For personal reasons i closed down my business just over 18 months ago and started contracting to a couple of different builders, But for some time have wanted to put my hand to something else, Also i am not getting any younger, i will be 50 in the next few years,
