In my current job, I have gained valuable skills in various areas of baking. I have basic knowledge of baking like ingredients, cooking and preparation methods. My role involves assisting with the packaging and displaying of baked goods. I am adaptable and flexible to take on different shifts during the 24-hour shift work available. Additionally, my physical stamina is improving as the job requires being on my feet for long periods and lifting heavy items in both hot abdominal cold environments.

I had a great experience at Ferkins Farm, where the staff were excellent and my time there was quite positive. The work was demanding, but my team maintained high energy and productivity. I learned important skills such as safety awareness by understanding procedures and using PPE, as well as attention to detail and adaptability while working in various conditions. Additionally, I developed my physical fitness by walking, standing, and lifting for long periods, often in challenging terrain or weather. I also took the initiative to work independently when needed, ensuring that tasks were completed responsibly.

I was fortunate enough to have worked at Cedenco. I had a nice team environment, I learned a lot and got most of my hard-working ethic from being employed there.

I gained knowledge about food safety and hygiene, as well as how to uphold their standard operating procedures. Additionally, I improved my teamwork and communication skills and further enhanced my physical stamina.

I worked here only during the school holidays, but I really enjoyed my time and gained valuable experience in several areas. I learned about stock replenishment, which involved efficiently refilling shelves and ensuring products were properly faced and priced. I also developed my product knowledge. Teamwork and communication were also key elements, as I collaborated closely with colleagues in both the stockrooms and on the shop floor. I learnt skills for helping and supporting customers. It also improved my physical stamina through heavy lifting and staying on my feet for extended periods.
