- Managed daily farm operations including milking, feeding, fencing etc
- Maintain plant hygiene to ensure quality milk
- Observe herd health and prevent herd problems by taking any necessary actions especially regarding mastitis, lameness, milk fever etc.
- Plan and identify options for the farm for future development and increased production
- Supervise and train staff in all aspects of farming and related jobs
- Move stock to maintain the optimum pasture grazing quality to meet farm standards
- Developed and maintained strong relationship with farm owner.
- Developed and Implemented Strategies for efficient pasture rotations.
- Managed and analyse pasture growth and performance on a weekly basis.
- Keeping herd records in the Protrack like calving, mating, treatment, tagging and retagging etc
- Confident on Protract, Minda and Halter
- Making mating plan with owner
- Complete and maintain reports for effluent system
- Manage the re-grassing of paddocks when necessary
- Fencing and Tractor Works including silage feeding, mowing etc
- Proficient in ordering supplement feed for all stock and arrange delivery
- Weed Spray and control
