  • Company Overview: Woolworths has a long-standing legacy in Australian retail, evolving from a small variety store to its current position as a major supermarket.
  • I have successfully delivered two large-scale, multidisciplinary construction and fit-out projects for Woolworths Group. Notably, I contributed to the project delivery of Christchurch and Auckland Temperature controlled Fresh Distribution Centre’s (CFDC & AFDC)-state-of-the-art facilities that embody sustainable infrastructure and advanced design principles.
  • In these roles, I focused on tracking project timelines, procurement, contractor site coordination, stakeholder & vendor management to ensure projects were delivered on time and within scope. My work emphasized close collaboration with consultants, contractors, and internal teams to align project delivery with client objectives.
  • Key tasks:
  • Pre-dominantly a site-based role in Auckland & Christchurch, my role involved intense planning, coordinating & managing of all client supplied fit out items, including design co-ordination, installation, defect close out & handover to Operations / F&M team on site.
  • Co-ordinate, plan & manage on site with fit out contractors & main contractor to ensure installation is carried out seamlessly on site to meet project timelines & budgets.
  • Close co-ordination with multiple stakeholders - F&M / IT / S&I / Operations / Change Managers / QA/ Transition Manager / Main Base build contractor / Fit out contractors / various design consultants to resolve design discrepancies.
  • Co-ordination with design consultants to ensure fit out items are coordinated within the design.
  • Co-ordination with Councils for inspection of fit out items.
  • Appointed as Engineers’ representative to Client procurement contracts.
  • Assessing variation claims from fit out contractors for Engineers approvals.
  • Closing out defects in a timely manner of all base build & fit out items.

  • Managing the design stage of a residential 3 storey weather-tightness project comprising of a fully new re-clad / upgrade of the protection systems/ new roof / balconies / new joinery.
  • Managing the & reinstatement industrial / warehouse project – Project completed (project value - $ 1.1 m)
  • Completed the tender documentation for 3 items - 13 storey high rise project - new curtain wall (glass & aluminium) to the external envelope
  • Recent project takeovers. To manage remedial works for Helensville Auckland Council Library for Richmond Road school on behalf of Ministry of Education

  • Review of the concept design from the Lead Architect and further co-ordination and review with the PMCs and their team of sub consultants (MEP / QS / Structural etc.) on the tender drawings prior to inviting expressions of interest from potential contractors

  • Reviews of tender submissions with advice from PMC, negotiations, and award of contract value

Achievement (Singapore campus): Project was successfully handed over to the Client as scheduled. I scrutinized the tender documents and drawings, verified the book of

measurements as per contractor claims towards cost additions & omissions ensured a cost saving of 140,000 NZ $ to the client. Awarded a cash prize of 5000 NZ $ for phase 1 and 6000

NZ $ for phase 2 of the project by the organization for timely completion of the project
