Heavy Vehicle Permitting Team Lead | Asset Management, Auckland Transport, Auckland, 07/2022, On-going, In my Current Role, I manage the team that approves daily overweight, over-dimension, and HPMV permits for the Auckland Region. As part of the permit process, we must assess the bridges and roads in the travelling route to ensure the structures can accommodate the proposed travel. I managed the schedule for our team to carry over the validation/audit of consultants' structural inspection reports. I will ensure the audit reports are delivered to the management on time. I am responsible for managing the people, their conflicts, continuous improvements, timesheets and leaves. In the last two years, I have achieved the milestone by improving my team’s technical skills by carrying out technical sessions and presentations every week. My entire team can now carry out the capacity assessment for old bridges. This position provided an opportunity to manage people and their conflicts while also developing the team's technical skills.
